Negligence is a failure to exercise reasonable care that results in harm to another party. The difference between Criminal law and law of negligence is that in law of negligence, harm is unintentional but in criminal law harm is intentional. Law of negligence provides remedies for those who are harmed by others’ negligent acts and omissions. They can mainly sue the other party who is liable for the negligent conduct and claim damages to compensate harm. Harm can be caused to their body, property, mental well being, and financial status or even to their social relationships.
