Ok I know this is madness BUT...
The ex wont sign the consent orders as she has realised that once I have 5 nights a fortnight
with the kids I'd be over the 35% threshold for family tax benefit and there will be a reduction
in child support. But if we calculate the time in hours (I KNOW MADNESS, I lived with MADNESS
for 6 years) then I would have the kids 34.1% of the time. So she wants the time in the consent
orders to be spelt out in hours not nights because the centrelink mob will only do what is in the
paperwork. SO, what if I agree to it being written into the consent orders in hours? When the
consent orders are checked at the court to ensure they are fair, are the good people at the
court going to say, hang on a minute, why is this done in hours, that is strange, maybe there is
something not fair going on here???
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Kind regards
