solicitors
The article informs the reader about the qualifications of aspiring solicitors, for them to be allowed entry into the profession. Lawyers who conduct proceedings in court are traditionally called solicitors. There are two ways by which graduates can enter into the profession: one, prospective solicitors with a qualifying degree proceed to enroll as a student studying a Legal Practice Course; and two, those who hold a non-law degree but a qualifying degree nonetheless must complete an additional conversion course before enrolling on to the Legal Practice Course. Once the course is completed, and so is apprenticeship, the prospective solicitors are prioritized to enter and may eventually practice law.
