Today, I was accused of a crime. I was interviewed by an investigator and I was read my rights. I never admitted guilt, but I did ask hypothetical questions to the outcomes of different scenarios if I did commit the crime. I then asked to stop questioning until I could obtain a lawyer. Was this the right thing to do? Could they use the hypothetical questions against me?
