I could be wrong, but i have noticed that our road signs (destination)with at least 2 or more named places are written so that as a driver you have to read from the bottom up.
The new signs installed on the highway at Tunapuna and Macoya speaks for itself.
Westbound the sign indicates Port-of-Spain, then Mt.Hope Exit, St. Augustine, Tunapuna etc.
Is there an International Standard for road signs?
or is this T&T 's standard.
Here's a sample guide to the way it should be:
The top name on the Distance sign should be that of the next place on the route. AND NOT THE LAST PLACE.
