I was heading down the driveway of a friends house, where I reside. I was going extremely slow as it is a icy driveway in area's. I had hit a patch of ice that is about 12ft in length, which resulted in hitting a tree. There is approximately 800+ in damages to the front end of my vehicle, will their home owners Ins cover the damages? Also will the home owners Ins cover bodily injury? Did not go to the ER as there was no bleeding, cuts or bumps, as the evening progressed my lower back started to bother me. I am unsure if I should go to the ER to have my back checked out or wait and have my PCP check me over when I see him on 12/31/2012. Do I need to file a police report regarding the incident? I have takin pictures of the damage to my vehicle and how icy the driveway is, and the tree that my vehicle slide I to from the ice.
