The law actually provides quite a few types of workers' compensation benefits:
Payments for Lost Wages :-
Wage-loss profits are available if it is strong-minded that you are absolutely disabled and not capable to work or partly disabled and getting wages less than your pre-injury income.
Death Benefits :-
If the wound or injury results in death, existing dependents may be permitted to benefits.
Specific Loss Benefits :-
If you have lost the everlasting use of all or part of your arm, leg, foot, toe, sight, thumb, finger, hand, and hearing or have a serious defect on your face, head or neck you may be permitted to a specific loss reward.
Medical Care :-
In the event of a work-related disease or injury, you are allowed, if covered under the Act, to the payment of related all surgical and medical services rendered by a physician or other health care supplier. Medication, hospital treatment and services, orthopedic instruments are also covered for as long as they are required.
