Personal injury litigations typically occur in the form of accidents, workplace injuries and other injuries that an individual incurs due to the actions of a third party. To be able to simplify this concept, we divide this form of litigation in two broad categories - negligence cases and intentional acts, which is also known as 'torts' in legal slang. It primarily means the wrongful act of an individual which resulted in an injury of the party who seeks damages through the court of law.
