OK, so court date is coming up quite fast and I have a question...
Basically my partner is trying to get his child to be able to attend the same school as it's step-siblings (my kids) attend. (The child begins prep next year in Qld)The mother is flat out refusing (as she refusing to acknowledge the child has step-siblings altogether, she has no other children either), and after a mediation attempt, there's still no resolution. My partner is taking ex to court, I believe that the first appearance is really just going send them back to mediation and we all know the outcome will be the same as is now, but by the time the next court appearance will be, it's probably going to be too late for my partner to have his say as she would have already enrolled the child in her preference of school and the child will probably have already started attending that school by then.
My question is, Is there anyway we can get an order (in the mean time) to let the child attend the same school as it's siblings next year?
We don't live far from the mother or anything and the child spends substantial time with the father and it's step-siblings so they all have a close bond.
